About the treatment
What is the SkinPen?
With SkinPen Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) we renew the skin in depth. The SkinPen is the world’s first FDA-cleared medical microneedling system, and the only one FDA-cleared for the safe and effective treatment of acne scars.
The SkinPen is also suitable for firming and evening out the skin, reducing fine lines and refining pores. We set the needle depth on the needle itself, so it never goes deeper or shallower than intended. This makes the treatment precise and safe.
How does medical microneedling work?
Very fine, sterile needles create tiny openings in the skin. The skin responds by repairing itself: new collagen and elastin are produced. The skin becomes firmer and fuller and the complexion more even.

What to expect
After the treatment
Depending on the area and the intensity, the skin may be somewhat red and feel warm or tingly; this subsides after a few hours. The recovery period is short. You receive 2 aftercare products to support recovery; these are included in the price. For the best result, 3 to 6 treatments are needed with an interval of 4 weeks.
