About the treatment

What is a Morpheus8 treatment?

Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF). Fine needles deliver heat deep into the skin. There, the heat boosts the production of collagen and elastin, which makes the skin firmer and smoother.

We use it to treat the face and the body, including acne scars, cellulite and stretch marks. Because the needles can work up to 4 mm deep, Morpheus8 is considerably more intensive than standard microneedling.

How does Morpheus8 work?

Morpheus8 uses a sterile tip with fine needles that release RF energy (heat) into the deep layers of the skin. This heat activates the body’s natural healing process and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. This results in:

  • Firmer skin
  • Smoother skin texture
  • Fewer fine lines, wrinkles and visible pores
  • A rejuvenated skin surface
  • Natural contour improvement, for example of the jawline and double chin

How the treatment works

    Preparation

    Before the treatment, a numbing cream is applied, which makes the treatment easy to tolerate.

    The treatment

    A treatment of the face takes 30 to 45 minutes on average.

  4. 04

    Recovery

    Redness usually fades within 24 hours. After 1 to 2 days the skin has generally fully recovered.

What to expect

Result

You see the final result after 3 to 6 months, and it remains visible for a long time. Sometimes one treatment is enough, sometimes we advise more; that depends on your skin. After 1 to 2 years we recommend a maintenance treatment.
