Stretch marks are marks that can appear on the skin of the body when the skin grows rapidly. The best known example is that of a woman's stomach during pregnancy. However, they can also develop on breasts or thighs if they grow faster than the skin can keep up with. The connective tissue is torn subcutaneously by excessive tension, which is not painful, but does lead to purple-red marks that turn into white scars after a few years.
Rosacea is characterized by a bright red discolored skin, especially in the area around the nose and cheeks. Bursted blood vessels are visible, but often also red bumps and pimples. Most patients who have rosacea think they 'just' suffer from acne. This is mainly due to the presence of the pimples in the affected area. However, rosacea has nothing to do with acne and is a chronic skin condition.
A skin condition in which there is too much or too little pigment in the skin. There are different types of pigmentation spots. The most common types are age spots, a pregnancy mask (melasma) and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which develops after skin damage. A lack of pigment can be caused by damage to the skin or by skin conditions such as vitiligo.
We speak of excess hair when too much and too thick hairs grow in places where normally no or only thin hairs grow. There are two forms of excessive hair: hypertrichosis and hirsutism. They usually occur individually, but can also occur in combination.
Age spots are benign pigmented skin lesions where elderly suffer from. Skin areas that have been exposed to the sun, especially the face and hands, develop round or oval-shaped light to dark brown colored spots. The spots can be a few millimeters to a few centimeters in size.
As someone gets older, a lot changes in the skin. The upper skin layers become thinner and the number of blood vessels and sebaceous glands decreases in the skin layer below. This creates more space between the different skin layers. The amounts of collagen and elastin (the fibers that provide the firmness of the skin) also decrease, causing the subcutaneous connective tissue to lose its firmness. In addition, the skull shrinks with age, causing the skin around it to become looser. All of this makes the skin look and feel slacker and less resilient.
Endermology (LPG) is THE treatment for sagging skin of the body. A treatment with endermology is a virtually painless treatment method that treats both the skin and subcutaneous tissue and the subcutaneous connective tissue. Endermology improves the structure of the connective tissue, stimulates blood flow and the removal of waste.
Tixel®: The revolutionary breakthrough for skin improvement.
Tixel® is the latest top treatment for improving severely sun-damaged skin, deep wrinkles and aging skin. The treatment is also very suitable for acne scars or stretch marks. Tixel® replaces the fractionated CO2 laser but without the adverse consequences. A safe and optimal treatment of different body zones with a high level of comfort for the patient. Tixel® does not use laser beams or radio frequency and is therefore radiation-free. Tixel® works with pure, natural heat and is specially designed for doctors and skin therapists. The treatment is suitable for men and women of all ages.
How does the Tixel work?
First, we thoroughly cleanse and disinfect your skin. Then the Tixel® delivers controlled pulses to the skin through a matrix of small pyramids, which remain sterile throughout the treatment.
These pulses are very short in duration (approximately 10 milliseconds) and ensure rapid ablation (evaporation) of the old skin. For example, approximately 25% of the skin is treated per treatment. After 4 to 6 treatment sessions (1 x per month), the entire skin is treated and approximately 100% renewed. The production of new collagen and elastin continues after the treatments for 4 to 6 months.
A total of 4 to 6 treatments, each with an interval of 1 month, are required. After each treatment, the result additionally improves. You will get the best effect about 4 to 6 months after the last treatment. The treatment is not very painful, because unlike a CO2 laser treatment, no anesthesia (creams or injections) is required. After about a week, the skin has recovered. Up to 6 months after the last treatment, the production of collagen and elastin fibers is still active, so that the skin continues to improve. After these 6 months the result stabilizes. We recommend that you undergo maintenance treatment after a year or some after several years to maintain the result of the treatments.
Hoe ziet een niet-chirurgische behandeling met de Tixel eruit?
The Tixel improves fine lines, skin sagging and crow's feet. After 48 hours you can camouflage the redness and swelling of the treatment and after about 5 days it has completely disappeared. This treatment is perfect for an eyelid correction without cutting. You can choose whether you want to treat only the eye region or also the entire face. With scar treatment, the treatment can also be performed locally.
