Stretch marks are marks that can appear on the skin of the body when the skin grows rapidly. The best known example is that of a woman's stomach during pregnancy. However, they can also develop on breasts or thighs if they grow faster than the skin can keep up with. The connective tissue is torn subcutaneously by excessive tension, which is not painful, but does lead to purple-red marks that turn into white scars after a few years.
Rosacea is characterized by a bright red discolored skin, especially in the area around the nose and cheeks. Bursted blood vessels are visible, but often also red bumps and pimples. Most patients who have rosacea think they 'just' suffer from acne. This is mainly due to the presence of the pimples in the affected area. However, rosacea has nothing to do with acne and is a chronic skin condition.
A skin condition in which there is too much or too little pigment in the skin. There are different types of pigmentation spots. The most common types are age spots, a pregnancy mask (melasma) and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which develops after skin damage. A lack of pigment can be caused by damage to the skin or by skin conditions such as vitiligo.
We speak of excess hair when too much and too thick hairs grow in places where normally no or only thin hairs grow. There are two forms of excessive hair: hypertrichosis and hirsutism. They usually occur individually, but can also occur in combination.
Age spots are benign pigmented skin lesions where elderly suffer from. Skin areas that have been exposed to the sun, especially the face and hands, develop round or oval-shaped light to dark brown colored spots. The spots can be a few millimeters to a few centimeters in size.
As someone gets older, a lot changes in the skin. The upper skin layers become thinner and the number of blood vessels and sebaceous glands decreases in the skin layer below. This creates more space between the different skin layers. The amounts of collagen and elastin (the fibers that provide the firmness of the skin) also decrease, causing the subcutaneous connective tissue to lose its firmness. In addition, the skull shrinks with age, causing the skin around it to become looser. All of this makes the skin look and feel slacker and less resilient.
Endermology (LPG) is THE treatment for sagging skin of the body. A treatment with endermology is a virtually painless treatment method that treats both the skin and subcutaneous tissue and the subcutaneous connective tissue. Endermology improves the structure of the connective tissue, stimulates blood flow and the removal of waste.
Lumecca IPL is een geavanceerde behandeling die gebruik maakt van intense gepulseerde lichttechnologie (IPL) voor huidverjonging, het verminderen van pigmentvlekken en het behandelen van vaatafwijkingen. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is een bewezen technologie die krachtige lichtpulsen afstraalt, die specifiek gericht zijn op probleemgebieden in de huid, zoals pigmentcellen of bloedvaten. Hoe werkt Lumecca IPL?
Lumecca maakt gebruik van een hogere lichtintensiteit dan traditionele IPL- of OPL-behandelingen (Optimized Pulsed Light). Hierdoor kan het licht dieper in de huid doordringen en is deze effectiever bij het aanpakken van verschillende huidproblemen. De behandeling is relatief comfortabel, krachtig en vereist doorgaans minder sessies dan andere behandelingen.
Lumecca werkt volgens het principe van selectieve fotothermolyse. Dit houdt in dat lichtenergie gericht wordt op specifieke huidproblemen, zoals pigmentvlekken of kleine bloedvaten. Het resultaat is een egalere en stralendere huid.
Het behandelproces
De Lumecca IPL-behandeling is snel en comfortabel. Tijdens de behandeling voelt u korte, warme pulsen op de huid wanneer het handstuk in contact komt met de behandelde gebieden. Deze pulsen worden gelijkmatig over het te behandelen gebied verspreid.
Na de behandeling kan de huid tijdelijk rood en warm aanvoelen. Dit effect verdwijnt meestal binnen enkele uren. Bij sommige mensen kan de pigmentatie eerst donkerder worden voordat deze langzaam afschilfert. Er is weinig tot geen downtime, waardoor de behandeling perfect in een druk schema past.
In de meeste gevallen zijn 1 tot 3 sessies nodig, waarbij elke sessie 15 tot 30 minuten duurt. De specifieke duur en het aantal behandelingen hangen af van de aard van de huidproblemen.

Acne is a condition of the sebaceous glands and can affect both men and women at different ages. The condition mainly affects the face, but can also appear on the back, chest, neck or shoulders. Acne can be recognized by oily skin, blackheads, small white bumps, red pimples, pimples and / or inflammation.

Couperose is characterized by the presence of many burst blood vessels. The red or blue colored vessels are usually located on cheeks, nose and chin and sometimes also in the neck or décolleté. They are harmless but can be disfiguring and are more common in women than in men. They can cause a tingling, burning or itching sensation.
These are small brown to black molds that mainly occur in dark skin (both Asian and black race). The most common place is the face (particularly temples and forehead). They can be of various shapes and sizes and sometimes cause cosmetic concerns.
Skin bumps (Milia) look like small, white granules in or under the skin. It contains hardened sebum (skin sebum). It is a blockage of the sebaceous or sweat glands. Often the skin bumps are on the cheekbone or around the eyes.
